"Trip Phone" for tourism

The business of "Trip Phone" officially kicked off in Tibet on May 1, sources from the Tibet Branch of China Mobile on May 8.

As tourism industry has boomed in Tibet with the operation of Qinghai-Tibet Railway, China Mobile has promoted a tourism service product "Trip Phone", which began trial operation in October, 2009.

With this service, users can not only save their money and time but also can enjoy conveniences such as getting tourism information.

Customers from home and abroad can deal with this service in offices of China Mobile, hotels in Lhasa as well as travel agencies and hotels in Beijing.
