He Yong, deputy secretary of the CPC's Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, hailed the development of bilateral relations between China and Eritrea, saying the two countries have witnessed a smooth expansion of bilateral ties, increased political trust and expanded cooperation in various areas.

The visit of the PFDJ delegation will not only promote friendship and mutual trust between the two parties, but also boost the development of China-Eritrea relations, He said.

He also extended congratulations to Eritrea for the 19th anniversary of Eritrea's independence.

Chief delegate Yemane Gebreab, head of political affairs at the PFDJ, echoed He and spoke highly of the friendly cooperation between the two countries.

Yemane said the PFDJ will further strengthen exchange and cooperation with the CPC and advance the development of China-Eritrea relations.

He Yong also briefed the guests on the CPC's party-building experience and China's domestic situation. He said the CPC will have more party-to-party exchanges with the PFDJ on party building and state governance.
