Suzhou embraces theme week

Suzhou Pavilion in UBPA started the Wuzhong Theme week today to showcase glamour and beautiful scenes of the city's Wuzhong District.

The display includes interactive videos of its scenic spots of the district. Information of Wuzhong’s dining, living, travel, shopping and entertainment are shown at the first floor of the case.

The second floor of the pavilion is screening a tour video of the beautiful part of Taihu Lake that is near the district. The video will be shown along with live performances of Suzhou Ballad and playing of Guqin, a traditional Chinese music instrument.

The pavilion also includes a display zone of Suzhou embroidery works, jade carving, nut shell carving and stone carving.

During the week, the district will hand out Wuzhong tour guides to Expo visitors to lure them to go to Wuzhoong after their Expo trips.

Expo visitors to this UBPA case during the theme week will also receive Wuzhong-theme poker cards and Wuzhong travel cards, which can offer 30 percent admission discounts at the district’s scenic spots.
