HONG KONG, June 21 (Xinhua) -- The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index jumped 511.73 points, or 4.40 percent, to close at 12,134.42 on Monday.
The H-shares index, initiated in August 1994 and readjusted on September 7, 2009, tracks the overall performance of 44 major Chinese mainland state-owned enterprises listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
The Hang Seng China H-Financials Index added 725.87 points, or 4.43 percent, to close at 17,117.96.
The H-Financials Index, initiated on November 27, 2006, readjusted on September 10, 2007, tracks the performance of nine major banks and insurers of the Chinese mainland.
The Hang Seng China-Affiliated Corporations Index went up 146. 58 points, or 3.83 percent, to close at 3,976.38.
The index tracks the performance of 34 locally listed companies with a significant equity interest held by entities in the Chinese mainland.
