WASHINGTON, June 29 (Xinhua) -- The White House said Tuesday U.S. President Barack Obama has announced the designation of a Presidential Delegation led by former secretary of state Madeleine Albright to Shanghai, China, to attend U.S.A. National Day at Expo 2010 Shanghai.

The U.S. Pavilion in the Shanghai Expo will hold U.S.A. National Day on July 2. The delegation include officials and artists.

The Expo, with the theme "Better City, Better Life," has drawn the participation by an unprecedented 189 countries and 57 international organizations.

More than 20 million people have visited the World Expo in Shanghai since its official opening on May 1, organizers said Monday. Large crowds of visitors, particularly students, are expected at the Expo during the school holidays in July and August.

The Expo is expected to draw 70 million visitors in total by the time it closes on Oct. 31.
