BEIJING, July 8 (Xinhuanet) -- Paul the psychic octopus proved himself a prophet again by successfully predicting Germany's loss to Spain in the World Cup semi-finals. And now he receives threats from fans of the losing teams.
Paul now not only faces the wrath of Argentinian supporters who expressed a desire to eat him in an act of vengeance, but also the German fans' eager to see psychic octopus on the menu, according to Telegraph reports.
However, Paul's keeper Oliver Walenciak said: "There are always people who want to eat our octopus but he is not shy and we are here to protect him as well. He will survive."
