BANGKOK, July 12 (Xinhua) -- Thai interrogators already questioned totally 80 individuals and companies having been alleged of providing financial assistance to the recent anti- government United front for Democracy against Dictatorship (UDD) movements, Colonel Feungvit Aniruthewa, secretary of the Justice Minister, told a press conference on Monday.
"Over the past two weeks, all concerned authorities speeded up their works regarding cases in connection with the UDD group," Colonel Feungvit said.
These 80 individuals and companies were required to meet with DSI interrogators during June 28 to July 9, said Colonel Feungvit.
And, the DSI is now interrogating three more individuals and a company, Colonel Feungvit said.
They are questioned by interrogators from four authorities including the Justice Ministry's Department of Special Investigation (DSI), Anti-Money Laundering Office (AMLO), Office of the Narcotics Control Board (ONCB), and Revenue Department.
"We expect to complete the interrogation process within 60 days, " DSI Chief Tharit Pengdit said recently.
The outcome of the examination will be forwarded to the Resolution of the Emergency Situation (CRES) and cabinet, Tharit said.
