Salute! Chinese dream fulfillers

Beijing, August 1st ( Chinese intellectuals including diplomat Wu Jianmin, prose writer Long Yingtai, market economist Wu Jinglian, investigative journalist Wang Keqin, director Wu Yusen, actor Jiang Wen and modern artist Xu Bing were honored the "Chinese dream fulfiller" awards at the grand ceremony held in Peking University Hall on July 31th. The ceremony was organized by Southern Weekend and Dragon TV and was sponsored by Perfect China Co., ltd.

They are models for contemporary China--a group of pioneers who dare to dream, are able to dream, and are fulfilling the Chinese dream. They are glamourous, filled with charms of the times and the vision of the development; They are enthusiastic, both in national identity as well as their citizenship; They are transcendent, making achievements and creating wonders.

Each award winner were interviewd respectively on their life stories by guest hosts Xiamen Unversity professor Yi Zhongtian, artist Chen Danqing and CCTV anchor Bai Yansong.

Great dream, Wonferful EXPO

"Chinese dream" was earliest raised by Wu Jianmin, president of International Exhibition Bureau(BIE) and former Chinese ambassador to France. Wu has contributed a lot to the succeessful bid for the 2010 Shanghai EXPO, which turned out to be an excellent communication between China and the entire world. "The Olympic Games and the World EXPO has put China to the center of the world stage in the past ren years, and the following decade is still vital to China's development."

"Chinese dream has 3 characters: the scale is great, the domain is extensive and the value is shared by the whole world," Wu pointed out on a following theme forum.
