The World Expo Shanghai Organizer yesterday told visitors to buy Expo tickets from authorized agents and do not buy tickets, particularly multiple-use tickets, from speculators.
There are two types of multiple-use tickets, one valid for three days, another for seven days. Visitors can buy them without using their real names and the tickets can be used by buyers and others as well.
Multiple-use tickets contain chips that can record the number of entries and only at the last admission the tickets will have a physical mark stamped on the surface. The Organizer advised visitors to check the remaining entries of their tickets when passing through the entrance of the World Expo. Ticket holders can also check their tickets at the ticketing offices.
The Ticketing Department of the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination said only a few authorized agents still sell multiple-use tickets due to limited supply.
