Online visitors win VIP pavilion tours

Twenty visitors to the virtual Dutch pavilion at were given a VIP tour of the real one with their families this morning after winning an online lucky draw.

Each received a framed picture of the Netherlands Pavilion and a crown-shaped pin from the pavilion's director, Weird Vonk. They were also treated to Dutch wafers.

A Shanghai resident surnamed Hu was among the luckiest of the group as he also won VIP trips to the Norway Pavilion and the USA Pavilion via similar lucky draws.

He suggested Netizens try their luck between 12pm and 1pm. He said he had visited the World Expo 11 times.

People who browse the SAIC-GM Pavilion at tomorrow between 10am and 2pm could win fast access to the real pavilion on August 31.

To win a VIP tour, Netizens need to register at and leave their mobile phone numbers for the lucky draw.
