MOSCOW, Aug. 30 (Xinhua) -- The number of billionaires' descendants in Russia rose 1.5 times in 2010 compared to 2009, with their accumulated capital increasing two-fold, Moscow's RBC Daily reported on Monday.
In Russia there are 85 offspring of the billionaires against 54 in 2009. These children's fortune amounted to 250 billion U.S. dollars while a year ago it was "only" 107 billion dollars, the report said.
The richest father's fortune successor in Russia with 10.65 billion dollars this year is Yusuf Alekperov, the only son of the largest shareholder of the Lukoil company.
He is followed on heels by Alexei Kuzmichev, only son of the Alfa Group shareholder, with 7.1 billion dollars to inherit.
The third place is occupied by Petr Deripaska and his sister Marina, the children of RusAl owner Oleg Deripaska, with 6.9 billion dollars each. Last year, those siblings took only 14th position in the rating of those born with a silver spoon in mouth.
The fifth place hold three children of Vladimir Lisin, owner of NLMK steel works, with 18.8 billion dollars to share brotherly.
Compared to 2009, the list of this year's "golden kids" added a new name Gennady Timchenko, the son of the co-owner of Gunvor oil trade company, Russia bank and Novatek chemical company.
All in all, the fortune of ten richest "heirs" of their parents ' business empires have been worth 250 billion dollars.
