19 injured in foot bridge collapse near main stadium of Commonwealth Games

NEW DELHI, Sept. 21 (Xinhua) -- At least 19 people were injured in a foot bridge collapse near the main stadium of the upcoming Commonwealth Games in India on Tuesday.

Police said that the entire bridge near gate No. 3 of the Jawaharlal Nehru stadium collapsed.

The Games will open on Oct. 3 and end on Oct. 14.
