OCA President arrives in Guangzhou

Guangzhou, November 11 - President of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah from Kuwait and his entourage arrived in Guangzhou on Thursday morning. Vice Minister of the General Administration of Sport of China and Vice President of the Chinese Olympic Committee Yu Zaiqing, Vice Mayor of Guangzhou Municipality Xu Ruisheng, Director of External Relations & Protocol Department Sun Xiuqing as well as the entire reception team for Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah greeted him at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport.

Tomorrow will see the opening of the 16th Asian Games. Yu Zaiqing expressed that the Chinese people look forward to witnessing this exciting moment with Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah. Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah expressed his appreciation for the hospitable reception of the Guangzhou Asian Games Organising Committee (GAGOC).
