China's terra cotta warriors packed up for Australia road show

A chartered cargo flight, loaded with China's famed terra cotta warriors, left Shanghai Pudong International Airport heading to Australia, where they will be put on display, at 7:15 p.m. local time on Nov. 11.

It is reported that there are a total of eight boxes of the terra cotta warriors, which were transported by truck from Xi'an city of Shan'xi Province to Shanghai Pudong International Airport. "The First Emperor of the Qin Dynasty and His Underground Army" exhibition will make its debut in the National Museum of Australia at the appointed time.

These national treasures will be divided into two groups and transported to Sydney, Australia. The second batch of four boxes will be transported Australia on Nov. 13, 2010. The terra cotta warriors will be on display for one month.
