Guangzhou Shotgun Centre honoured for excellent shotgun events

Guangzhou, November 25 - Trap and Skeet events of the Guangzhou Asian Games Shooting rounded off on November 24 here at Guangzhou Shotgun Centre of Zengcheng and successfully earned high praise from visitors from home and abroad while theChinese team walked away with six gold medals.

Shotgun Event"for Guangzhou Shotgun Centreare
awarded by Asian Shooting Confederation.

Shotgun competitions were completed in order, with thorough safeguard services and smooth transportation. Spectators watched the events with great enthusiasm and courteousness. There was no unoccupied seat in the venue and no accident occurred during the event either. Asian Shooting Confederation highly praised the construction of shooting venues in Zengcheng, organisation and services for the Asian Games. Two honourable plaques of "Eco-Zengcheng City, Harmonious Games" and "Top-class Team, Excellent Shotgun Event"for Guangzhou Shotgun Centre were awarded by Asian Shooting Confederation.

Li Feng, Deputy Director of Shooting and Archery Management Centre under the General Administration of Sports of China and Secretary of Asian Shooting Confederation, indicated that Guangzhou Shotgun Centre is an eco-venue; it is fit for competitions in all aspects of the climate and environment, and its greenery surroundings are good for athletes as a training base.

It is quite likely that more athletes from other Asian countries and regions including Korea, Hong Kong (China), Macao (China)and Chinese Taipei will also come here for trainings in the future.
