Hong Kong, China grabs more gold medals at GZ than Doha Games

Guangzhou, November 25 - The Hong Kong, China sports delegation held a press conference at the Main Press Centre (MPC) of Asian Games Town on the afternoon of Wednesday (November 24). Present at the conference, Timothy Fok, President of the Sports Federation and Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China and Vivien Fung, Chef de Mission of Hong Kong, China sports delegation briefed to the media details about Hong Kong, China sports elegation's gratifying performances at Guangzhou Asian Games.

Mr Fok told the reporters that with the joint efforts paid by all athletes of Hong Kong, China, the delegation has achieved remarkable results at the Guangzhou Asian Games by seizing eight golds, 14 silvers and 14 bronzes (till 16:00 on November 24) and finishing sixth in the medal tally, which outperforms its competition results at Doha 2006 Asian Games.
