RIO DE JANEIRO, May 29 (Xinhua) -- Host Bahia battled to a 3-3 draw on Sunday against Flamengo in the 2nd round of the 2011 Brazilian Championship.

Jobson scored twice for Bahia, one of which came in the last minute of play to give his team the tie.

Lulinha scored the game's first goal, giving Bahia the lead when he pounded in a free kick delivered by Gabriel in the 16th minute. Flamengo responded by tying the match in the 29th minute when Ronaldinho slid to knock in a centered ball from Galhardo. Bahia reclaimed the lead in the 36th minute off a fast break that culminated in a goal from Jobson.

Flamengo tied the match again in the 54th minute. Thiago Neves weaved a perfect ball through the defense, rolling to a wide-open Bottinelli who easily drove the ball past an off-balance keeper, Omar.

Flamengo took the lead in the 72nd minute when Diego Mauricio invaded the goalie box and quickly passed the ball to Egidio who wasted no time in firing an angled ball into the far right side of the Bahia goal.

However, in the 90th minute of play, Jobson scored another goal and re-tied the match. The player was on the receiving end of a give-and-go with Maranhao, leaving him in front of the goal to blow the ball past keeper Felipe and into the Flamengo goal.

The result gave Flamengo its fourth point while Bahia earned its first point of the competition. In the third round of the competition, Bahia will travel to face Gremio on June 5. On the same day, Flamengo will receive Corinthians.
