Murray edges out Troicki to reach quarterfinals at French Open

PARIS, May 31 (Xinhua) -- World No. 4 Andy Murray edged out Serbian Viktor Troicki in the deciding set on Tuesday to reach the quarterfinals at the French Open.

Murray injured his right ankle during the third round and showed sign of hesitation while facing the 15th seed Trokcki.

After losing the first two sets on Monday evening, the British top player fought back to level at 4-6, 4-6, 6-3, 6-2 before the match was suspended due to bad light.

In the final set on Tuesday, the 24-year-old Murray was broken first but battled back from 5-2 down to wrap it up 7-5, setting up a clash with Argentine Juan Ignacio Chela.
