International Strawberry Symposium kick starts theme songs contest

The 7th International Strawberry Symposium is to be held in Beijing next year for the first time. The organizing committee has just launched a contest, requesting theme songs for the symposium.

The contest is open to the public in China and 30 winners will be selected, with their songs to be used as themes for the event. The contest will be the first of a series of cultural activities leading up to the symposium.

The International Strawberry Symposium is held every four years. It aims to boost the development of the strawberry industry as well as provide entertainment and education. The symposium will serve as a platform to enhance collaboration in strawberry research and production.

The 7th International Strawberry Symposium will be held in 2012 in the Changping District of Beijing, from the 18th of February to the 22nd. Changping is a well-known strawberry growing district and production base in China.
