Roadside bomb wounds 6 Afghans

KABUL, June 13 (Xinhua) -- Six persons were injured as a roadside bomb struck a military vehicle in Kandahar province, 450 km south of Afghan capital Kabul on Monday, a press release of Interior Ministry said.

"The incident happened at 10:30 a.m. local time in Kandahar city the capital of Kandahar province as a result six people including three Afghan soldiers and three civilians among them a child were injured," the press release added.

It also blamed the anti-government militants for organizing the attack but the Taliban outfit which has intensified activities against Afghan and NATO-led troops has yet to make comment.
