Backgrounder: New Lebanese government

BEIRUT, June 12 (Xinhua) -- Lebanon announced on Monday a new government led by Prime Minister Najib Mikati.

According to Lebanon's state-run National News Agency (NNA), the government lineup is as follows:

Prime Minister: Mohammad Najib Mikati

Deputy Prime Minister: Samir Moukbel

Justice Minister: Shakib Kortbawi

Economy and Trade Minister: Nicolas Nahhas

Labor Minister: Charbel Nahhas

Environment Minister: Nazem Khoury

Defense Minister: Fayes Ghosn

Interior and Municipality Minister: Marwan Charbel

Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Minister: Adnan Mansour

Information Minister: Walid Daouk

Public Health Minister: Ali Hassan Khalil

Culture Minister: Gabi Layoun

Finance Minister: Mohammad Safadi

Social Affairs Minister: Wael Bou Faour

Public Works and Transportation Minister: Ghazi Aridi

Youth and Sports Minister: Faysal Karami

Higher Learning and Education Minster: Hassan Diab

Water and Energy Minister: Gibran Bassil

Telecommunications Minister: Nicolas Sahnawi

Industry Minister: Freij Sabonijian

Agriculture Minister: Hussein Hajj Hassan

Displaced Minister: Alaa Eddine Terro

Tourism Minister: Fadi Abboud

State Ministers: Talal Erslan, Ali Kanso, Ahmad Karami, Selim Karam, Panos Manjian, Nicolas Fattouch (Parliamentarian Affairs), and Mohammad Fneish (Administrative Development Affairs).
