Pyongyang quietly launches European-style shops

Japan's Kyodo News reported that Pyongyang is quietly set off a "European hot" European-style shop in the street.

The influence of Italian restaurants and European luxury shops in the street are increasing.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the EU and DPRK.

A store in Pyongyang, the capital of North Korea, sells Italian shoes and
clothes in July 2011. A growing number of stores in Pyongyang are selling
name brand bags, shoes, ties, watches and cosmetics from design houses in
Italy, France, Switzerland and other European countries.
