Kim Yu-na to feature in charity ice show

SEOUL, Aug. 17 (Xinhua) -- South Korean figure skating Olympic champ Kim Yu-na will perform in a charity ice show in the Harvard University, her agency confirmed on Wednesday.

The gold medalist in 2010 Vancouver Winter Games, who will turn 21 next month, will skate at the annual charity show organized by Harvard University.

The charity event called "An Evening with Champions" will be held on Oct. 15 and 16 at Harvard's Bright Hockey Center, which will benefit the Jimmy Fund of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute according to the organizers.

"It's an honor to be invited to such a meaningful event. It feels great to know that my skating can help cancer patients. And I hope many fans will come out for a good cause and to enjoy beautiful figure skating," Kim said in a statement.
