"Angola is an important partner for cooperation between China and Africa," Wang said.

China is ready to work with Angola to score new cooperative achievements in areas such as finance, agriculture, infrastructure and human resources, in order to bring bilateral ties to a new level, he said.

He noted the two sides have made outstanding progress in cooperation on key areas, including energy, financing and project contracting, since the two countries forged a strategic partnership last year.

He also expressed willingness to push forward the building of a mechanism for bilateral cooperation, and to speed up the implementation of a bilateral agreement on financing cooperation as well as cooperative projects within the framework of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation.

Feijo, who is on a six-day visit to China at the invitation of Wang, said Angola is ready to reinforce cooperation with China in various fields such as energy, resources, finance, agriculture and culture.

Feijo will conclude his visit on Oct. 28.
