5 injured in roadside bomb attack in NW Pakistan

ISLAMABAD, Nov. 7 (Xinhua) -- At least five people were injured in a roadside remote-controlled bomb blast in Pakistan's northwest district of Kohat on Monday morning, reported local media Geo.

This is the second blast of terrorist attack nature that occurred in Pakistan on Monday while all the Muslims across the country are celebrating the first day of their three-day Eid holiday with their family members, relatives and friends.

Earlier on Monday morning, in Swabi, a district in northwest Pakistan, which is located some 120 km northeast of Kohat, a suicide bomber attacked a former local official's car while he was on the way to mosque for Eid morning prayers, leaving at least three people including the targeted official dead and four others injured.
