Pakistan Ambassador to China extends condolences over killing of Chinese national via Xinhaunet

BEIJING, Feb. 29 (Xinhuanet) -- A Chinese woman was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Pakistan's northwest city of Peshawar on February 28, 2012. Mr. Masood Khan, Ambassador of Pakistan to China, strongly condemned this tragic incident and extended condolences to the bereaved family via Xinhaunet.

Beijing, February, 29, 2012

"I am deeply shocked by the killing of a Chinese national in Peshawar yesterday. We strongly condemn this tragic incident and extend our condolences to bereaved family."

"The Government of Pakistan attaches highest importance to the safety and security of Chinese citizens and their businesses in Pakistan."

"We are thoroughly investigating the incident and will spare no efforts to track down the culprits."
