LOS CABOS, Mexico, June 19 (Xinhua) -- Chinese President Hu Jintao met his U.S. counterpart Barack Obama Tuesday in Los Cabos, Mexico, on bilateral relations and major regional and global issues of common concern.

The two leaders met on the sidelines of the 7th summit of the G20, which convened Monday and Tuesday to focus on global growth and stability.

This is the second meeting between the Chinese and U.S. presidents this year.

The first was on the sidelines of the Seoul Nuclear Security Summit in March. At that time, the two leaders also exchanged views on the development of bilateral ties and important regional and world issues.
