Three die in Halloween party in Madrid

MADRID, Nov. 1 (Xinhua) --Three people were crushed to death during a Halloween party in Spanish capital Madrid in the early hours on Thursday morning.

The three victims, who were aged between 18 and 25 years old, were attending a concert by internationally renowned American DJ, Steve Aoki, in the Madrid Arena when a stampede caused a crush.

Two more people in critical condition were taken to hospital at around 04:30 a.m. local time (0330 GMT).

Local police are currently investigating the accident to make sure that the "Thriller Music Park" party did not exceed the 10,000 capacity of the Madrid Arena.
