MOSCOW, Nov. 12 (Xinhua) -- The bobsled track for the Sochi Olympics will have amazing atmosphere, head of the sport's international governing body Ivo Ferriano said Tuesday.

According to the official, the audience can see a unique spectacle of the bobsled track, as the facilities "will become the ideal scene to create an amazing atmosphere," local sports media R-Sport cited him as saying.

After talking with top athletes who are currently at the track of the Sanki Sliding Center in the mountains above Sochi for test events, Ferriano was confirmed that the track was faster than it was when a World Cup test event was held in February.

"Everyone was satisfied with the preparation of the track and the competition conditions, including hospitality and logistics...I'm very happy and proud that everything in Sochi has been prepared so quickly and well," he noted.
