The search for flight MH370 is in its 57th day. China has said it will put all efforts into the underwater search, as it enters a new phase.

According to China’s Maritime Search and Rescue Center, a Chinese navy vessel with strong underground searching capabilities has left for the southern Indian Ocean and is expected to arrive next Saturday. But the center said the search will face many complicated situations there.

On Friday, the Joint Agency Coordination Center said the submarine vehicle, Bluefin-21, had completed its 18th mission, but no debris was found. It added that the Ocean Shield vessel is now en-route to Fleet Base West in Western Australia to replenish supplies. It will then return for a search operation with the Bluefin-21.
