Full coverage: Chinese Premier Li Keqiang Visits Africa

Chinese Premier Li Keqiang has arrived in Abuja, the capital of Nigeria, in the second leg of his Africa tour. In a statement issued upon his arrival, Li notes Nigeria is the largest economy in Africa and is China’s important partner in the continent.

He says China and Nigeria have maintained close high-level communication, and their strategic partnership has been advancing. On Thursday, Li Keqiang will attend the World Economic Forum on Africa. He will also meet Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan. The Premier will then travel to Angola and Kenya to wind up his four-nation Africa tour.
