It's Day 10 of the World Cup in Brazil. Germany were looking to book their place in the next round by beating Ghana in Group G.

The Germans were one of the tournament favorites going into the match after destroying Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal 4-0 in their last outing. They took the lead early in the second half thanks to Bayern Munich's attacking midfield star Mario Gotze.

But in a thrilling turn of events Ghana quickly equalised through Andre Ayew before striker Asamoah Gyan put the African team ahead.

The Germans then responded, grabbing an equaliser of their own through record goalscorer Miroslav Klose in the 71st minute. It means Klose levels Brazil’s Ronaldo as the World Cup's all-time top goalscorer with 15.

Germany remains on top of group G with four points. Ghana are third with one point, ahead of Portugal, who play the United States on Sunday.
