RIO DE JANEIRO, July 12 (Xinhua) -- Even though Germany have only one man having played in previous World Cup final, they still feel no pressure and have the experience to cope with Sunday's final against Argentina, said midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger here on Saturday.

"I don't think that we have any pressure. We have a lot of players who have played finals at top level we know how to deal with the situation even though we have only one player who has played in the World Cup final," he told a news conference at the Maracana stadium.

"We have lots of players among the 23 who've played in important finals and we know how to handle that," he said.

"We have Miroslav Klose, who played in the final in 2002. Other players have played in finals with their clubs and have produced outstanding performances."

"We just have to think about the job we have to do. When the referee blows his whistle, we just have to concentrate on what makes us strong. Everything else around the game, we can take it in, but we have to keep it at a distance. Your head must be clear and concentrating only on football."

Germany sailed into the final with an easy and remarkable 7-1 victory over host Brazil. However, Schweinsteiger said Argentina and Brazil are different teams.

"We are in very good shape, as we were against Brazil but we know that this is a different game. Brazil were without Neymar and Thiago Silva and they felt intense pressure," he said.

According to him, Germany should be patient enough when facing a talented Argentina side.

"We have to be patient. Argentina is for me a very, very good team who are deservedly in the final. They have world-class players with (Lionel) Messi, (Angel) Di Maria and Sergio Aguero.

"(Javier) Mascherano is the leading wolf - as he showed with the tackle against Arjen Robben to deny him a goal. You see what kind of attitude he has for his country. It will not be easy for us but if we show our quality on the pitch and we have the necessary cleverness we can beat this team."

If Germany win the final, they will become the first European side to win the World Cup on the soil of Americas, and will become a four-time champions sharing the same record with Italy and only five-time champions Brazil have a better record.

"Of course we have lost one or two final, but I also won a great one with Bayern Munich. So I know how it works. Then you can manage to win this tournament at this level. For this reason I'm quite confident for the match tomorrow."
