Basu wore jewels created by Sachin and Nitin Gupta of PC Jeweller, and an outfit by Indian fashion designer Neeta Lulla. Models displayed 'temple jewelry,' featuring gold pieces with the embossed forms of great deities and gods.

Models also wore uncut diamond necklaces, with diamond headpieces and dangling earrings.

"It's very elegant, very traditional, yet for the modern women. I think the kind of jewelry that I am wearing, I have chosen myself, so it's a reflection of the modern woman's personality, so there is a good mix of modern and traditional," Indian actress Bipasha Basu said.

At Indian jewelry brand Ganjam’s show, models wore long bibs and chandelier earrings, medallions for necklaces, and intricately carved bracelets.

They displayed designs in colored, blue and uncut diamonds, embellished with rows of sparkling gems.

Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor, brand ambassador for the India International Jewelry Week 2014, also walked for the finale. The highlight of her look was a bridal headband called "Arbor Amore," created in a gold leaf design.

"It's a statement, so I want the focus on this head piece. It's a lot of fun wearing this jungle jewelry, and with a sari, wearing a queen necklace, I feel like a goddess, it is very nice," Sonam Kapoor, Indian actress said.
