Another popular show is the fairytale drama "Once Upon a Time". And fans have recently been treated to some special announcements, including exclusive first-look scenes from the season-four premiere. CCTV Hollywood reporter talks to the cast and creators of the show, to find out even more.

"Once Upon a Time" takes place in the fictional seaside town of Storybrooke, Maine, whose residents are actually characters from various fairy tales transported to the "real world" town and robbed of their memories by a powerful curse.

As the fourth season unfolds, some of the characters now live in New York. And to some die hard fans of the show, last season’s finale was a real shocker as the two leads, Emma, played by Jennifer Morrison, and Captain Hook, took their relationship to the next level.

"Emma asks how Hook was able to get back to her and he said that he basically gave up his ship to be able to open a portal to get back to her and she realizes that that was a huge sacrifice and it’s one the first moments she starts to believe it maybe it's okay for her to be vulnerable with him and so they really had their – even though they had kiss just once before this is really their first true kiss in a sense that they were both vulnerable and they were both making a choice to actually be connected in that moment," Jennifer Morrison said.

As sizzling as the kiss had been, the road to it hadn’t been all romance but after having such incredible adventures together, these two star-crossed lovers are no longer ships passing in the night.

"I think it’s like a real kiss and so to be interesting to see where they go. I know that it's going be complicated. It’s not going to be easy for either of them but who knows where it will go?" Colin O'donoghue said.

"Once Upon A Time" has remembered what Disney fans have always known - female antagonists, whether they be witches or evil queens or sea creatures - are almost always more fun. And to actress Lana Parilla, playing the Evil Queen is quite enjoyable.

"Oh, it’s fun. I’ve always had like a childlike imagination. I do. It’s something I like to practice and something I'd like to - I love children so I feel like it's always been in me. I think we humanize these characters in ways that we've never seen before and that to me is the most fun to play is the real person not a fantastical version of her," Lana Parilla said.

"Once Upon a Time" is the brainchild of Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz, who helped form that other mythical world "Lost". Despite the comparisons, to them, "Lost" concerned itself with redemption, while Once Upon a Time is about "hope". Adam and Edward find pushing themselves helps the show grow.

"Oh, absolutely because every year you want to make the year - the new year - the best year ever," Adam and Edward said.

"(AH) So it's always putting the pressure on ourselves to try to push the show and try to push ourselves to be better - to raise the bar to continually challenge ourselves as writers to come up with stuff that can surpass what we’ve done before."

With season four about to begin, actor Josh Dallas, who plays Prince Charming, revealed to us that the cast never sees the new scripts until a day or even just a couple of hours before the production.

"No, I never see it coming. I never see things that come in the episode coming so – Eddie and Adam are always surprising all of us. Every script – every script is surprising," Josh Dallas said.

Josh’s real life wife Ginnifer Goodwin plays his on-screen love interest on the show, and they just welcomed their first baby. With Ginnifer absent at Comic Con this year, Dallas admitted that it’s nice to separate life from work.

"We usually leave it at work. We leave it at work. Work’s at work," Josh Dallas said.

The one important truth that "Once Upon A Time" communicates is: Everyone is more than they seem. Join "Once Upon A Time" when it returns for its fourth season this September.
