Warner Brothers Television, the studio that produces the hit comedy 'Big Bang Theory,' said Tuesday that it had reached contract deals with the sitcom's cast.

Work on the eighth season reportedly had been delayed as the cast of the top-rated sitcom held out for raises. But agreements have been reached with stars Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki and Kaley Cuoco for lucrative three-year contracts. The stars will now make US$1million each per episode. Co-stars Simon Helberg and Kunal Nayyar have also agreed substantial pay rises.

The CBS series about geeky scientist friends and the women who love them returns on September 22.
