Spring and Summer have been in the air in Buenos Aires, for the Argentine capital's Fashion Week. Let's get a look at Thursday's action on the catwalk, as designers brought out their new collections.

Anthonella Lamanga's new 'Kybalion' line was on show in Buenos Aires on Thursday. The designer says the geometric shapes were inspired by optical art and "the transmutability of perception".

"My collection this season expresses the deformation of reality, of perception, and how one can see things in different ways. It's about how reality can change, depending on each person's gaze," Anthonella Lamanga said.

There was also a new spring and summer collection from Kostume, an eclectic fusion of silk, knitwear and plastic accessories.

Designer Emiliano Blanco says it's both a tribute to futuristic styles from the 60s, and to 70s safari fashion.

"It's a collection that is inspired by the 60s and 70s, we call it a kind of safari. It has something sort of spatial from the 60s and safari-like from the 70s. It's a collection for men and women, and it also has a sporty touch - running shoes, sandals it's quite varied," Emiliano Blanco said.

Benito Fernandez, meanwhile, says the new collection from his own label, Benito, is geared towards the easygoing, urban woman.

"It's about ready-to-wear, in the street, urban life and a much more relaxed woman. There's an eastern inspiration, that's why there are blurred prints, satin and cotton," Benito Fernandez said.

More than 20 collections from Argentine and international designers have been shown throughout the four day fashion week, which came to an end on Friday.
