Liberia has found all 17 suspected Ebola patients who fled a quarantine centre in the capital Monrovia over the weekend.

Liberia’s information minister Lewis Brown said on Tuesday that all of them had been transferred to the JFK Ebola specialist treatment centre. A violent raid on Monrovia Ebola quarantine center caused 37 people who were suspected of being infected to flee.

Earlier on Monday, Liberia National Police said 20 of them who left had already returned. The information minister also quoted an assessment by the head doctor, saying three infected African doctors who had received the experimental Ebola drug Zmapp were showing "remarkable signs of improvement".
