Landslide in Guizhou kills 6, with 21 missing

At least six people were killed and 21 remain missing after a landslide struck a village in southwest China’s Guizhou Province on Wednesday night.

The landslide hit Yingping Village in Fuquan City. The village’s rescue headquarters said twenty-two people were injured. A total of 77 houses collapsed or were buried in the landslide and the lives of 154 villagers were affected. A rescue operation is now under way.
