Q1. Relations between China and Japan have been strained over Japan’s refusal to acknowledge its war crimes against China. How do you view the development of future bilateral ties? Take us through the major ups and downs between the two countries.

Q2. Germany has been honest and regretful over its role in World War Two. However, Japan’s attitude has been quite different. The country has often been vague about its involvement in the war. Why is that? How do you explain the post-war difference between Germany and Japan?
