Full coverage: 17th Asian Games Incheon 2014

Its 9 days away from the start of the 2014 Asian Games set for Incheon, South Korea. And the Chinese Judo team are anxious for the continental tournament to begin and put behind them a dismal performance at the World Judo Championships a week ago.

China have been going through a transitional period since the 2012 London Olympics. The young team didn't collect a single medal at the worlds last week in Russia. So the Incheon Games are seen as a place for the team to get back into the winner's circle.

China have traditionally done well in judo, usually in the heavier weight categories. At the last Asian Games in Guangzhou four years ago, China collected 6 total medals in the discipline including two golds.
