The USA open strong as DeMarcus Cousins makes the steal and then takes it in for the easy dunk. But Slovenia fight back and Zoran Dragic's three-pointer reduces the lead to seven points and it's 49-42 after two quarters.

The Americans come out strong in the third. Stephen Curry drives to the basket and then Anthony Davis finsihes with the slam.

Klay Thompson had the game high 20 points as he scores here with the floater.

Slovenia did register the last points of the game through Edo Muric, but the USA were emphatic 119-76 winners.

"We just played the way we needed to play. In the first half they did a very good job pressuring us and making us go where they wanted us to go. And in the second half we played better," USA team small forward James Harden said.

"I asked them in half time, I said: 'We need to be a mature team'. And they were. We're not this powerhouse or anything. We have good athletic ability, we play hard defensively. But we're young. And I know internationally specially is tough to win young," USA coach Mike Krzyzewski said.
