Germany coach Loew honored in hometown of Freiburg

It's been almost two months since the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, where Germany captured their fourth title by defeating Argentina 1-0 in the final, but the celebrations are still continuing as the victorious coach, Joachim Loew, has been honored for his achievement in his hometown of Freiburg.

Fans chanted Loew's name and gave a rendition of "He's Coming Home" to the tune of the popular football anthem "Three Lions."

Located in the south-west of Germany, the city of Freiburg is home to many notable citizens, but Joachim Loew is surely one of the most popular, judging by the residents who gathered at a celebration in the town square, to pay tribute to the boss of Die Mannschaft.

The coach and former midfielder known as "Jogi" has been leading the national team since 2006, and was clearly moved as he waved and thanked the crowd for attending, before acknowledging their support by showing off the World Cup trophy which he held aloft with pride.
