HK protesters continue to camp outside gov't headquarters

12-07-2014 12:42 BJT

Protesters continue to camp outside the government headquarters in Hong Kong, while another student protest leader has quit his hunger strike.

18-year-old student leader Joshua Wong ended the strike after 4 days, while two other students continue. There have been calls from other protest groups to ask students retreat from the streets, but the student protest group remains undecided.

Increasing criticism and internal division have resulted in a dwindling number of protests seen on the streets.
