Sub-anchor: 680 economic fugitives nabbed in Operation Fox Hunt

The Chinese government launched one of its most high profile law enforcement operations in 2014 - Operation Fox Hunt, its objective was to bring to justice Chinese economic fugitives hiding around the world.

According to a press conference held by the Ministry of Public Security on Thursday, since it began in July last year, the operation has nabbed a total of 680 suspects from some 69 countries and regions.

Now for more details on Operation Fox Hunt, we are joined in the studio by Wu Haojun.

Q1: Operation Fox Hunt has been hailed as one of the most successful law enforcement operations, tell us more about what's been accomplished so far.

Q2: As we've seen, cooperation among law enforcement in different countries and regions has been crucial to the success of Operation Fox Hunt. But there are still very real challenges, such as the lack of extradition treaties between China and certain countries. Tell us more about that.
