The Malaysian government has released an interim report on the investigation into missing Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370. It comes on the first anniversary of the plane's mysterious disappearance.
The report contains technical information about the aircraft’s maintenance record, and the air traffic control and military radar tracking records. It also details background information on the crew. The report concluded that no red flags related to the crew or mechanical issues had been found.

Announcing the report’s release, the head of the investigation team stressed that the sole objective of the report is to prevent future accidents or incidents, rather than apportioning blame or liability. He also emphasized that the information released was of an interim nature and may be altered before the publication of the final report.
