Host country of Euro 2016, France do not have to go through the qualificatin process. On Sunday, Didier Deschamps' side took on Denmark in an international friendly at the Stade de France. Les Bleus expected to bounce back from a 3-1 home defeat to Brazil last Thursday.
Having seen his regular starting lineup beaten convincingly by Brazil, Deschamps handed chances to some bench players.
Dominating from the kickoff, France flew into the lead on 14th minute.
Antoine Griezmann had his chipped effort saved by Kasper Schmeichel.
But Alexandre Lacazette was at the right place to fire in the rebound. 1-nil, France!

Olivier Giroud doubled the lead a quarter later. The Arsenal forward slipped Geoffrey Kondogbia's through ball underneath Schmeicel to claim his tenth France goal. 2-nil, Les Bleus!

In the other friendlies on Sunday, Brazil won their eighth successive game since the World Cup. Roberto Firmino's goal gave them a feisty 1-0 victory over Chile at Arsenal's Emirates Stadium.
Over to Africa, Cote d'Ivoire were held 1-1 by Equatorial Guinea in Abidjan. South Africa also drew with Nigeria in Nelspruit.
