The Solar Impulse 2 arrived in the city of Chongqing after a flight of some 20 hours, from Mandalay in Myanmar. The plane began its journey in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates March 9, and it is making its way around the globe in about 25 flight days.

The plane will undergo major maintenance work in Nanjing before its biggest challenge:  crossing the Pacific Ocean within five days and nights.
