Baghdad is the province that had the bigger share of the displaced families, as it witnesses a relative calm in security wise and the highest presence of the Sunnis in its neighborhoods.

In response, the Iraqi government has taken several security procedures to prevent the infiltration of the militants to Baghdad as displaced people.

The Iraqi army has deployed several checkpoints in the area to provide security for the pedestrians who left their areas seeking a sanctuary for their family members.

The Iraqi security commanders said that the tightened security measures have been put in place to provide the security for the capital in the first place and to monitor the individuals who enter Baghdad, they say that the Iraqi army's efforts were fruitful as more than 11 people were on the wanted lists for being affiliated in terrorist activities have been arrested.

The displaced families say they are hoping to be able to return to their homes.

The people's influx has never been a reason for the Iraqi army to slowdown the military advances in the province, and, according to the Iraqi PM, the Iraqi army will pursue the militants to the last centimeter of the Iraqi soil .

At the time that the Iraqi government is trying to do its best to provide its best security and services for the displaced families in one hand and fight the militancy on another the influx of the displaced families continue towards the capital Baghdad and other provinces.
