China on import tariff to cross-border e-commerce retails

07-14-2015 00:07 BJT

A spokesperson from China's General Administration of Customs says it is working with the Finance Ministry on import tariffs on cross-border e-commerce retails.

He also says Chinese customs have involved all kinds of cross-border e-commerce businesses, such as B2B and B2C, under their regulation. Those transactions are now calculated into the general trade account.

Since mid-May, Chinese customs have introduced a 365-day non-stop regulation to cross-border e-commerce transactions.
